A wave of hope
In today’s trend of fast fashion and impulsive buying, unknowingly we increase the amount of garbage that will end up in the landfills and oceans. An immense amount of resources are consumed for producing these products. When we don’t use them up to their full potential, the resources used to produce them are simply wasted. We don’t realize that our small actions can have big consequences. To save our mother earth we need to rethink the way we shop. We need to reuse, recycle more than before. If we don’t, the oceans and land will overflow with garbage soon. And whatever goes around comes around. So NOW is the time to make a change and hope that it works.
The materials used in the painting are shopping receipts, tissue papers, sand, carton boxes scrape, broken silk threads, peel off acrylic colors from the palette, old painting pieces, brown packaging paper, dry coconut scrapes, foil paper pieces.
