The blooming paper flower
The vibrant and blooming vine of bougainvillea always makes your garden a bright place. It is sometimes referred to as "paper flower" because its bracts are thin and papery. The symbolic meaning of bougainvillea changes from one area of the globe to another but the majority claims it stands for a sign of welcoming visitors and beauty. I personally love this free climbing plant for its amazing color variations. The illusion of colorful flowers which actually are modified leaves is just so intriguing. The tiny white flowers in the center of the bracts, just add the finishing touch to this mesmerizing painting done by nature.
I have used palette knife to create the texture.
